Rakibul has completed a Bachelor of Laws as the Gold Medallist from BRAC University, Bangladesh, achieving the highest-ever CGPA at his law school. He works as the Senior Legal and Compliance Manager at BRAC International, the largest NGO in the world, advising on private international law disputes, international labour standards, financial crime prevention and commercial remedies across multiple European, Asian, and African jurisdictions. Rakibul has led the incorporations of BRAC’s NGO in India, its microfinance company in Kenya and its enterprise in Liberia. His research interests focus on the intersectionality of employment law and human rights.

Through the Bachelor of Civil Law at Oxford, Rakibul seeks to develop a deeper understanding of multi-stakeholder corporate governance frameworks with binding human rights obligations.
