Lisa is a passionate geographer from Japan and Italy, with an HBA in International Development and Geography from the University of Toronto. She explored complex interrelationships between society and the environment, highlighting the influence of corporate practices on global development. She currently works as a sustainability consultant advising global clients on ESG strategies, water resource management, and nature-related financial disclosures. Lisa is motivated by a commitment to social justice and a desire to align corporate sustainability with Indigenous knowledge and local practices in the Global South.
She aims to become a policy expert in water governance, bridging science with business to shape equitable and evidence-based solutions at local, regional, and global levels.
