Linus is a civil engineer at a leading engineering consultancy, passionate about using engineering to address real-world challenges from equitable water access to urban mobility. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi. His work centres on delivering climate-resilient, operationally sustainable infrastructure through inclusive, stakeholder-driven design.

He has led major water and sanitation projects, including East Africa’s first large-scale trenchless pipeline rehabilitation, which cut construction costs and minimised environmental impact, offering a scalable model for dense cities. Other notable projects include the UN Nairobi Conference Facility and Nairobi Central Railway Station.

After Oxford, he intends to bridge technical expertise with policy, driving infrastructure development for Africa’s growing population through climate adaptation strategies and sustainable infrastructure financing frameworks.
