Delina Yemane Dawit is a public health professional and writer from Eritrea. She holds a BSc in Public Health from Asmara College of Health Sciences, with four years of experience in NCD programme management at the Ministry of Health Central Region. In her role, she collaborated to expand NCD screening access, train healthcare professionals, and lead a Trachoma screening initiative, serving over 100,000 residents, and providing sight-saving interventions to over 300 people. Passionate about social justice and health, Delina founded a national awareness campaign against colourism and skin bleaching, engaging over 500 people.

At Oxford, Delina aims to deepen her expertise in health innovation, health systems strengthening, and program design. Her vision is to develop and expand mobile health initiatives for cancer screening across Africa.
