Makda Delelegne is passionate about how digital technology impacts emerging economies, particularly those with large youth populations. She co-founded Scholarbridge, a year-long online college guidance program for Ethiopian students, through her work with Ethio-College Prep. Before that, she was engaged in online community building and research. Makda holds a bachelor’s degree in social research and public policy from NYU Abu Dhabi.

At Oxford, she intendes to deepen her expertise in tech consulting and leadership. Driven by a commitment to socially informed digital transformation, she ultimately aims to start a consultancy in Ethiopia focused on the social dimensions of technology.
