Alevtyna Prykhodko is a Ukrainian energy specialist with hands-on lab experience at an oil refinery and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Technology and Engineering, dedicated to decarbonizing the world’s most polluting industries. During war and energy insecurity, she has led international climate projects across Africa and Eastern Europe through the FXB Climate Advocates Program and championed youth-led innovation for industrial transition as a member of the Women Energy Club of Ukraine. Her work focuses on carbon capture, sustainable oil refining, and low-carbon technologies for hard-to-abate sectors.
At Oxford, she seeks the expertise to lead large-scale energy transformations and represent Ukraine in shaping global climate policy. She aims to rebuild Ukraine with a resilient, low-carbon energy sector that sets a global standard for sustainable industrial growth.
