Atherton talks youth, tech and entrepreneurship in Africa

Atherton Mutombwera (Zimbabwe, MBA, 2016-2017, Louis Dreyfus-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann) recently participated in a panel led by Professor Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government, and Strive Masiyiwa, founder of Econet and co-chair of the Pathways for Prosperity Commission on Technology and Inclusive Development. In aconversation inspired by Marvel Studio’s Black Panther movie, Atherton drew on his experience as a young, African entrepreneur to weigh in on a technologically driven future vision of Africa and strategies for galvanizing youth to find scalable solutions for the continent’s challenges such as unemployment and incentivizing entrepreneurialism. #WakandaForever
