Yeukai Mudzi is a policy and strategy consultant in the SME and entrepreneurship space at the World Bank Group. She is a globetrotter who is passionate about governance in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially as it relates to creating an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive and contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic development.  Yeukai was previously the Chief of Staff to the Chairman & Founder of the African Leadership Academy and led the accreditation process to establish the first of a chain of 25 new universities of the African Leadership University across the continent.  She also consulted for Graca Machel on her Trust’s Women’s Economic Rights programme.  Yeukai is a Kofi Annan Scholar and a United World College graduate who holds a Bachelors in Economics from Macalester College and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Maryland. She intends to complement her policy background with private sector knowledge and business experience to promote SME development.
