Sherihan has completed  her MPhil in Development Studies at Oxford. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Political Science & Health and Societies.

Coming from a Palestinian Muslim background and having been actively engaged in the promotion of inter-cultural understanding since 2004, she began to investigate the political development of the Palestinian minority in Israel during her undergraduate studies. Also due to personal experience, she has developed a keen interest in the redefinition of women in Arab society.

Having returned to Israel in 2010, she began working for an NGO promoting a shared society of Jewish and Arab citizens. With the support of US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and HM Queen Rania of Jordan, she developed a career development programme to tackle youth unemployment in Jordan’s communities at the beginning of 2012.

Working as Project Manager and Educational Consultant at Adgee International in Amman, she witnessed the potentially devastating impact of corruption on the effectiveness of international aid.

Sherihan is currently Senior Marketing Manager at Foodpanda Hong Kong, starting and establishing processes for international start-ups.
