Olatunji is currently pursuing a DPhil at the University of Leeds focused on the Intersection of Climate Change and Urban Transportation in Sub-Saharan African. Previously a Senior Climate Change Specialist within the Global Practice Directorate of the Islamic Development Bank Group Olatunji was responsible for implementing the Bank’s climate change strategy in financed operations and investment portfolios. In this role, he supported the Bank’s 57 member countries to implement their low carbon and climate resilient development plans as well as transition to green economy. He led the Bank’s engagement in the Joint Multilateral Development Banks (jMDB) climate change working groups on mitigation, climate finance reporting and Paris Alignment.

Prior to this, he served as a project and program evaluator for development interventions, programs and country strategies financed and implemented by the Bank. He was formerly an advisor with KPMG Advisory Services.
