Irina has earned a DPhil in Geography and Environment, having previously completed an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy at Oxford.

Irina is a serial Climate Entrepreneur and during her engagement with the WHT scholarship, she was able to start several companies.

Kindness Collective (https://www.kindness-collective.com ), is a brand of sustainable laundry detergent made from soap nuts that provides livelihoods for women cooperatives in the Himalaya that was launched with a fellow WHT alumni Manas Nanda and a colleague Natalia Bulgakova-Cross.

Flying Forests (http://flyingforests.co )  is a tree-planting drone company, providing technological solutions to scale up ecosystem restoration to the communities that take care of the forests. By using drones, the company allows to scale up ecosystem restoration and to record precise data about the environment.

Currently, Irina has become a co-founder of Vlinder Climate (https://vlinderclimate.com ). It is a blockchain-based platform that is focused on proving capital to ecosystem restoration projects that are led by eco-heroes in the world’s most vulnerable environments.

Irina is based in Oxford, UK.
