Geraldine has a keen interest in social determinants of health and equitable health outcomes. She graduated with a Bachelors’ degree in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Zimbabwe and was awarded a book Prize in the final year of her studies in 2011. In 2013, she graduated with a Master’s in Public Health majoring in Global Health from Thammasat University in Thailand where she ranked amongst the top 5% of her class.

Geraldine has been involved in research studies to inform some of the HIV prevention studies in Zimbabwe and studies to inform the integration of Family planning and Maternal and Child health services in Liberia. Geraldine led the International rescue committee’s Ebola response initiatives in Liberia Lofa County during the 2014 outbreak through health systems strengthening and community engagement. She steered the research activities for the Male Circumcision programme in the Ministry of Health and Child Care of Zimbabwe and also managed to strengthen the weekly electronic reporting system nationwide through SMS platforms and improved periodic reporting using the National District Health information system.

Geraldine is working as a M&E officer in International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH) in Harare, Zimbabwe
