Ayushi completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) at National Law School, Bangalore, India, where she was the Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of International Economic Law and Editor of the Socio-Legal Review. Her academic interest lies in human rights law, constitutional law and criminal law; and she is committed to the cause of gender equality. She founded her University’s feminist alliance and participated in a student initiative to amend her University’s Code to Combat Sexual Harassment.
Ayushi has also worked under Justice DY Chandrachud and Senior Advocate Indira Jaising on constitutional matters in the Indian Supreme Court. In the future, she wishes to be instrumental in eradicating gender-unjust practices in her country through legal advocacy.
Ayushi finished her DPhil from the Faculty of Law and is a dual-qualified lawyer and barrister at 8 New Square. She advises on and represents clients in all areas of intellectual property law and litigation, including issues relating to AI & copyright, biotechnological patents, brands and their trade marks, and design rights.
