Ayse completed an MPhil in Migration Studies as a Weidenfeld Scholar in 2011 and has returned to Turkey where she is currently a Research Expert at International Investors Association (YASED), Istanbul. She received her MA in International Relations from Koc University where her thesis focused on the impact of emigration on social and economic development in Morocco and Turkey.

She is currently a Research Expert at the International Investors Association (YASED), Istanbul.
