Through her various internships including with the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe, the General Secretary’s office of the Romanian Government and the International Republican Institute, she has developed an intense interest in the democratisation process under-way in Romania. She is a member of the ‘Civitas’99’ Association of Students and Graduates in Political Science in Bucharest, which she has led since 2005.

She has carried out several independent research projects in Romania, on political parties and attitudes to parliamentary reform.

She is currently Advocacy Projects Manager at FACT Foundation in Bucharest, an organisation that promotes bio-energy.
