Marius is currently an institutional investor at the European Investment Bank, responsible for private equity investments primarily across EMEA.

Previously he worked in London, focusing on private equity fund of funds investments in markets spanning from Central and Eastern Europe to Africa. His last two roles in this capacity were at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the CDC Group.

Marius started his professional career in 2005 in Germany, leading international assignments in industrial robotics, automation and high-tech industry in China, India, and Northern and Western Europe. He holds an engineering degree from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania and an MBA from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford where he graduated as a Weidenfeld Scholar.

Marius is currently based in Luxembourg.
